Job Overview:
As an Investment Banking Analyst with the DVS Group, you will play a critical role in supporting deal execution and servicing client requests. This position is designed for highly motivated, autonomous individuals with strong analytical skills and a passion for deal-making. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in transaction support, financial modeling, industry analysis, and client communication.
The DVS Group is located in Kansas City, and the Analyst role is expected to be full-time in office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling: Build, analyze, and interpret financial models to assess financial performance, valuations, and transaction structures.
- Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process, preparing and reviewing financial and operational data to support strategic and financing decisions and maintain datarooms.
- Market & Industry Research: Conduct research on target companies and industry sectors to gather relevant data for strategic positioning and competitive analysis, as well as build target lists.
- Presentation & Marketing Material Development: Prepare quality pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings and pitch presentations.
- Transaction Support: Support Associates and Partners in executing M&A transactions, outreach, financial advisory, and consulting engagements ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Client Interaction: Participate with real face time in front of clients.
